Rahul Dravid
Sachin Tendulkar does not give you hope. He makes you feel incompetent (with all due respect to the master). Rahul Dravid gives you hope. Hope that with sheer discipline, dedication and determination you can maximize your potential. That you may not become God, but you can become the man of cricket. His was not a fight for the wall of fame. But for the wall. He does not inspire 'awe'. He inspires. Rahul Dravid - We'll miss you.

Writing
Truly satisfying writing bursts out from the soul. A flow of thoughts so natural, so in sync that it ceases to be writing and becomes an expression. When I don’t know what my next word is going to be is when I am most at peace. That’s when I am most in the present moment. Not worrying about grammar or style. But, just letting go. Letting the spirit to flow. Bliss.

Harsha Bhogle on Sachin - Well said
Nature has a way of denying you what you want desperately until you don't crave it any more. And there is a reason for it. When you want something as if your life depends on it you are obsessed with the outcome whereas it is the journey that will take you there.
When the craving diminishes it means you no longer fret over the outcome and are free to focus on the present.

Can't cup the Cup
I do not remember India losing this way for a long time. The team looks disintegrated. The coach is new. MSD it seems has finally lost track of what made him tick - his honesty. Why is success so difficult to live up to? The fact remains though that the results have confirmed what was the fact - England has been best cricket playing country in the world for some time now. But the manner which we lost and the continued slump in ODI is not a good sight. If only Indians could stop their lousy habit of hero worship - be it Anna or Sachin - we would not create super individuals, but a great nation.
